Wednesday – Mountain Clinic

Learn the basics for hiking in the mountains. We blend practice with theory during the day moving around in the surroundings of Fjällnäs. You will learn about hiking, mountain weather, orientation with map and compass / GPS, equipment, simple flora and fauna and, of course, mountain safety. The ambition is that you can safely and easily discover the mountain outside marked trails and paths on your own. You bring your own lunch package to eat out.

We will depart at 10 am from the reception at Fjällnäs Est.1882 every Wednesday between the weeks 28-39.

No previous knowledge or special equipment is required for the course.
