The Grand Ugglebo is a separate wing right on the shore of Lake Malmagen. It has been renovated to the highest standards and include our ”Grand Suite” and the “Grand Room”.
The name “Ugglebo” comes from the lieutenant-colonel Claes af Uggla, who along with Prince Carl (1861-1951), Duke of Västergötland, visited Fjällnäs many times to hunt grouse. During these visites Claes af Uggla lived in this separate wing.
Fjällnäs Grand Suite Ugglebo consists of a large bedroom and a living room with a fireplace and is excellent for special occasions.
The old building “Ugglebo” is renovated to the highest standards and contains the Grand Suite and the Grand Room.

The Premium Double Rooms are based on attractive Swedish quality and design. All rooms are quiet and extensively equipped. Fjällnäs facilities and accommodations are characterised by architecture in tune with the surroundings, solid craftsmanship, and natural materials reflecting the values of Nature.
You stay in an authentic old guest house wing, but at a simple standard. The hotel rooms are spartanly fitted-out to a modern youth-hostel standard. Norra Flygeln ("The North Wing”) is from the original construction of the hotel in the 1880’s. It has the charm of an old building and contains our Standard Rooms. The Standard Rooms contain one bedrooms with two beds in each and a bathroom.
